Meet Nicolas: Athlete of the Month

Athlete of the Month: Nicolas | 10 Years Old | Soccer

Athletics4Kids is proud to recognize Nicholas as our Athlete of the Month!

Nicholas is a 10-year-old soccer player from Rock Creek, BC, who has been playing with the Boundary Youth Soccer Association for the past four years. He is known for his positive attitude, commitment to his teammates, and passion for the game.

According to his mom, Amanda, sport has helped Nicholas grow in confidence while giving him the opportunity to be part of a team he loves. Whether he's encouraging teammates, making a pass, or helping create scoring opportunities, Nicholas always looks for ways to support those around him.

When asked what he enjoys most about soccer, Nicholas said, "I have lots of fun and love passing the ball and helping the team." He also shared that one of his proudest accomplishments this season has been helping and staying positive with his teammates.

For Nicholas, soccer means the world. His enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and team-first mindset make him a wonderful example of the positive impact sport can have on young athletes.

His message to other athletes is simple:

"Keep love for the game."
