This is a Widgetized section of the Calendar Page.

To add rotator items log in then go to "Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets" and select Calendar Page to replace what's displayed here with calendar content. If you just want to remove this block of text without displaying widgets, you need to delete this section from the template file.
