Neil is the General Manager of Canlan Ice Sports Burnaby 8 Rinks. Since joining Canlan, Neil has had the opportunity to experience the positive impact that sports participation can have within a community as well as the life learning experiences that it provides to those who play.
Working within the recreation industry, Neil naturally enjoys participating in a variety of sports and credits the West Coast climate for providing an exceptional playground for year-round enjoyment. Whether it’s hitting the links for a game of golf, riding the local trails on his mountain bike or playing recreational hockey with some of his closest friends, Neil tries to maintain an active lifestyle whenever possible.
With having two young children that are quickly becoming exposed to team sports, Neil and his wife, Rachel, feel that it is important for their family to incorporate sports recreation into their lifestyle in order to promote physical fitness, develop essential life skills and meet new team mates along the way.
